FirstAction Welcomes New National CRM

FirstAction & RiskLogic are pleased to announce the recruitment of Adam Davenport, the new National CRM for FirstAction.

Adam comes to the business with a wealth of experiences as a business leader, in particular, his recent career growth in the Emergency Management industry as a Senior Project Manager & Consultant. He has also been a facilitator for the past 10 years with some major players in the industry as well as providing his valued time as the Deputy Captain of the NSWRFS Glenorie Brigade for the last 7 years.

Adams early days in leadership were being forged when he received The Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award (1999) and performed his duties as the Ronald McDonald House Charities Ambassador from 2004 – 2006.

When talking about his key experiences and fond career moves, Adam says “I’ve been working in the emergency management sector for the past 9 years after having started my passion for helping people and wanting to keep them safe by volunteering at the age of 16 with the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSWRFS). This has given me great background knowledge to emergencies and knowing how the public react in the event of an emergency”.

In line with FirstAction’s move towards more technology focused resources like Activate, Adam brings with him a fresh and exciting mindset to how the Emergency Management landscape could change. “Activate app, for example, is the game changer. I’ve been talking about technology like this since I started in Emergency Management over a decade ago, and I’ve said to many people that the technology is out there – we just need to convert it to assist the responders. I remember saying to Phil Archer, General Manager of FirstAction, “this is what I’ve been waiting for, when can I start?”.

“FirstAction has a fresh and innovative way of looking at emergencies in the workplace. They’ve been looking at the emergency management industry and found the gaps and challenges that need to be filled to save lives and get companies back on their feet as soon as possible. Issues like communications during an event for example. By introducing technology, FirstAction are supporting guys like Chief Wardens to remain in control. I was very keen to be a part of that”.

FirstAction continues to grow this year with new team members, new national and international growth as well as huge technology expansion. “Working with a new and excited team that have an amazing passion for what they do, innovations that’s thinking out of the box and the app to boot, this is just the beginning for FirstAction. All the facilitators are emergency services personnel (Current and retired), that to me shows the business want to provide a higher level of service to situations. It’s time to show everyone what we can do.”

Adam commenced his role with FirstAction on the 18th of April and has already introduced himself to current and new clients.
