FirstAction takes new training direction with appointment of a National Operations & Training Manager

Preparing businesses to be emergency ready requires FirstAction to facilitate emergency response training programs for clients in a way that is both compliant and engaging. To do so, FirstAction requires a highly engaging team. We have been growing a best in class team over the past few years and 2017 has been momentous for FirstAction with strong talent acquisitions from within the Emergency Management industry. Notably, FirstAction’s National Operations & Training Manager – Rowan Allsop.

Rowan joined FirstAction with a wealth of experience as a senior leader at state, national and international levels. Rowan’s experience & knowledge stems from property risk, security, loss prevention, safety and emergency management. Rowan also served as a police officer, which has provided him with a skill set not always obtainable outside government organisations.

Rowan’s impressive career includes the following roles:

  • National Operations Manager – TrimEVAC (Wesfarmers Company)
  • Risk Manager Australia – Uniqlo Australia (Fast Retailing Japan)
  • General Manager Emergency Recovery management QLD/NT/WA – TrimEVAC
  • Group Risk Manager – Spotlight Property Group
  • Security & Risk Manager – Colonial First State Global Asset Management Chadstone Shopping Centre

From day one at FirstAction, Rowan gas been instrumental in the conception and implementation of the Stay or Go program – a fresh approach to the facilitation of emergency response training. Rowan’s appointment ensures a high performing & engaging team, whilst streamlining the delivery of projects & programs for the FirstAction national operations.
