Redback Megaphone A1982B operates in the same way as a standard megaphone, and is also fitted with an alert/evac tone generator which allows the broadcast of AS2220 alert and evacuation tones.
The operation mode (alert/evac/megaphone) is selected via a toggle switch and is activated by pressing the trigger. The tone remains activated until the trigger is released.
The powerful 25W amplifier and efficient voice coil unit allow the megaphone to range up to 100m in good conditions.
